Trapped

Trapped

I was climbing up the coldest, largest mountain trying to find my dog when suddenly a man dressed in pitch black spilled lots of cold water on me and I was freezing, wet and cold. The mysterious man walked in front of me and he started laughing at me. I was wondering why he’d laughed at me, when I suddenly realised that I was frozen, frozen like an ice cube! The mysterious man came up to me. ‘‘I will cover the world with darkness so you better hurry up!’’ he said as he disappeared into thin air. Time was ticking by. I started to panic. Time passed by. A lady saw me and she said, ‘‘What happened young man?’ ’I couldn't speak so I used my eyeballs trying to communicate but she didn’t understand. She left me but she came back afterwards and poured hot water on the ice. It melted a little bit. Night approached, there were no stars and the sky wasn't foggy. There was also no moon. I thought about that mysterious man again and what he had said. “I will cover the world in darkness, so you better hurry up!” I did not understand what he meant at first, but now I understand what he meant.
